The Prosperity Process
Let’s take a few moments to talk about The Law of Attraction. Throughout my content, I reference this principle frequently, just not always by that name. As you may have noticed, the phrase has become quite popular and has been subsequently watered down at times on social media. Regardless of that, however, it is a natural law stating that what we put out in the world comes back to us. This applies mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, energetically, and in every aspect of life.
The problem for most of us is that we are not using this law consciously and intentionally. Instead, we tend to do it on autopilot through subconscious beliefs. In fact, a lot of personal development and spiritual teachings work to shift these very beliefs, and that is certainly something that I seek to do as well, both for you and for me. In thinking about this, a little alliteration came to me: The Prosperity Process.
We all want to feel abundant and prosperous, and not just with money—with our sense of self and our connection to others. We want and need to feel loved, to have a sense of community, and to feel safe in our own bodies, minds, and environments. We also have the human desire for achievement and to further ourselves in the different areas of life. The Prosperity Process helps you attain these things by raising your vibration to attract your greatest desires into your reality. It is as follows:
Fortitude with gratitude makes for a prosperous attitude.
Let’s break that down.
Fortitude
This part of the process is like the classic Nike slogan, “Just do it.” With fortitude, we’re just really moving forward. We’re harnessing our drive and turning it into a directed focus and effort toward our goals and desires. It’s putting in the reps, at work, in the gym, in our personal lives, and in any other area we seek to further and achieve. Taken to the more extreme end of things, fortitude is “hustle culture” and grinding it out, working long and hard to get where you need to be. Although this is ok to a point, the real goal here is to actually enjoy your time doing the work. If you don’t enjoy it, you won’t be available to experience the results you desire.
Gratitude
Now for the secret sauce: appreciation for what we already have. It is acknowledging and enjoying what we have, who we are, where we’re at in life, and what’s already been given to us. When we are grateful, we are in a Loving energy, and we experience peace in the moment. Gratitude is a core component of achieving the ultimate in life: freedom and fulfillment.
A Prosperous Attitude
So, when we put the two together, fortitude and gratitude, we get the prosperous attitude that takes us to success. The two components balance each other out and create the perfect energy and environment for us to attract our desired outcomes.
Think for a moment about a time when you were working hard (maybe harder than normal) and really going after a goal with a sense of fortitude and a relentless desire to achieve. …And then you either burned out or “failed” and gave up. It doesn’t only happen to you—it’s very common with people. The reason this happens is that we get so fixated on the goal and caught up in the pursuit of it that we lose appreciation and respect for our actual lives, and we become too attached to the outcome.
When we are needing, hoping, and wishing for something, the needy energy it creates cannot possibly attract in the success we are pining after. It is not until we release that attachment to the outcome and open ourselves up to gratitude in the moment, that we can truly harness our own power of manifestation.
We take this mixture of fortitude and gratitude, and we create a higher vibration that ascends and brings back to us equally high results. We go from a vicious cycle to a virtuous one, and we move forward with both power and grace. Next time you are stuck and not achieving the outcome you desire, check in with yourself to see if you are allowing gratitude in. Let it flow in, and watch the Law of Attraction work its magic.
